Why are my documents coming out lighter than normal?
- Light prints can be caused by the toner cartridge, dirty scanner or worn transfer roller. We recommend replacing the toner cartridge first, if that does not solve the issue, then a service call is required to troubleshoot and find the faulty part.
I’m getting blurry/fuzzy prints, is there an issue with my printer or my toner?
- Blurry prints can be caused by 2 parts, the toner cartridge or the fuser assembly. We recommend to replace the toner cartridge first. If that does not resolve the issue, then give us a call to troubleshoot and possibly replace the fuser assembly.
How do I clean up a toner leak in my printer?
- A special vacuum is needed to cleanup a toner spill inside of a printer. Toner may melt on the motor of a standard vacuum causing the vacuum to stop working. We recommend calling us to clean up any large spill. Do not use compressed air, which can cause damage to printer.
Why are my pages coming out wrinkled?
- Wrinkled pages could be caused by worn rollers or a worn fuser assembly. In any case, a worn out part likely needs to be replaced.
How do I stop my machine from jamming?
- Check to make sure there are no loose pages stuck inside the printer blocking the jobs trying to come through. Jamming can be caused by several parts in the printer, which can be worn or failing. We recommend giving us a call to troubleshoot and fix the issue.
How do I clear a paper jam?
- We recommend removing the jammed sheet of paper in the natural path it takes to exit the printer. There are sensors that are designed to move in one direction and pulling the sheet opposite of its natural path can cause sensors to break.
